The Alchemist
A rather interesting book about listen to your heart and follow your dream. It talks about the notion that while most of us only look at the projection of our destiny, we may lack the determination to pursue and live out our destiny.
Personally it feels like a mirror reflection to me in the sense that it unlashed my feelings of struggles, hesitations and self-doubts which seemed to be draining the soul. It is fear that could stop you from achieving what you want.
At the same time, it also reinforced some of my faith toward life. It is the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting. Life is a process and you must always protect your mind in order to nourish your thoughts of achieving your dreams. You must always stick with the very fundamental belief, especially at time of trials.
The book did not suggest any formula or solutions. It simply inspired me to reflect on my attitude toward life and to follow my dream, especially when time is precious or maybe even running out.
So what are your dreams...?

Goodbye Fat Angelo's ...
The news actually gave me quite a shock. After 16 years of serving the HK population, the restaurant suddenly came to its "close-down" mode. The place would surely bring back lots of memories.
For as long as I could remember, for the last decade it has been one of my favorite places for birthday treat, gathering dinners, and farewell lunches. Fat Angelo's provided not only authentic American-Italian menu, but inside there always seemed to have a homey atmosphere filled with joy, warmth, and laughters. The wall decorations, the table-cloth, the lighting, and the furniture all had given me a sense of home-coming. You could just sit there for hours and not realizing time passed.
And personally, I missed the ribs, cheesecakes, and the tiramisu...
Now all this became part of our history.
